Yes, I am very happy with my life. There are so many people in the world that don't have running water, or a roof over there head. So I know I have nothing to be unhappy for and everything to be excited about. Everyone has there days were they feel less than appreciated but that doesn't mean you should sulk and take what you have for granted.
I'm happy with where i am in life right now. I was able to make it more than halfway through high school with excellent grades and being involved with my school. However, I don't just stop once i reached my goals. I strive even higher and try hard to achieve them.
I am not happy with my life but will get better once I get out of high school and plus I have so much more time for things to turn around. The biggest thing that is making my life suck is my parents. I hate them!
I'm happy where I am in my life right now. I'm working hard and doing what I have to do in order to get into a good college. I want to work hard now so when i get out of college I can get a good job because who knows how the job situation is going to look like in the next five years from now.
I can honestly say that i am very happy with my life right now. I have an amazing family and the greatest friends and people in my life. When i am having a bad day, which happens to everyone, i try to make the most out of it because there are alot of people in this world that have it worst than i do and would give anything to have some of the things i have. People seem to think that when there having a bad day its the end of the world, but if you cant survive that one day than how are you going to survive the rest of your life.
I am mostly happy with my life right now. Being in high school and feeling like you "fit in" is important to majority of people. The things in my life keeping me from being content are indeed materialistic. I do believe that society and the media have made me this way. Media tends to have this effect on a lot of people.
I believe that the Government is just one giant conspiracy. I believe that there is no such thing as a democrat nor a republican as well. It is all too keep the american mind content. There is only one political party and its communism. We have to do all these things to be free when we should already be free as is. They force us to go to school, we need to graduate to get anywhere in life. You have to pay taxes, if you don't you will be arrested. There is only one thing standing in a person's way of a dream, It's the Federal Government
I am very content with my life right now. All things are going very well and I still have a long life to live. I still have very many opportunities. I want to be successful at my career and make money, which if I work hard won't be as difficult as it seems. I also still have goals to achieve that are in the near future such as college. Nothing really has affected my life in a negative way yet, however I'm sure it will in the future.
Am I happy with my life so far? Well I suppose that I have no reason not to be. As someone who lives in America; I have a lot of things in this country. I have a home and food, and other essential things that people from other countries do not have. I suppose I can be happy for those things, but as far as events have gone and for my actual societal existence, I am not happy. I have made many a mistake in my short life, built bridges and toppled towers in this world I live in. I have a lot of goals for myself in the future, looking back; I wish that I would have set better goals for myself up to this point. Throughout elementary and middle school I have never really tried hard to have good grades or be the perfect student (or person in fact). In retrospect, I think that if I would have paid a little more attention to the books than I would have been able to be that honors student that I see in so many of my peers. I am a good student, sure, but I could have been better. At this stage in the game it seems like it's a little too late to go back and rectify some of the foes pas that I have made. I can however, fix this situation of a life that I am in and make a better existence for myself to live in. I wish that as a young child I would have realized all of the things that this country really does give us, one of the most important things is the option and the freedom to chose our futures and to make ourselves in to the things that people dream of as children. A lot that seems to hold me back is money, as a material item. Not as though I need to be rolling in money to be happy but to be able to do the things I enjoy like going to the movies, to take a friend to a restaurant, or to an amusement park. I unfortunately can't do these things in my current circumstances. Jobs are scarce these days and inexperience is not something that employers enjoy. To reiterate; I am not happy with my current life thus far. I am however going to be sure to make my life in to what I want it to be, so that I can find true happiness in that and everything connected to it.
@Ian I don't think you should say you hate your parents. You might say it at the moment when your mad at them but I'm pretty sure it's not how you really feel.
Tstumpp, I think that some things in the government are a conspiracy and they hide things they don't want us to know about. However, I don't think they are not as bad as you think. I think they're trying their best to help the United States be the best.
Yes, I am happy with my life. No matter how many struggles i go through there are others kids that are starving and dieing everyday and there are kids that have it way worse than I do. So im just happy to be alive and healthy.
@Sdonnelly, i completely agree with you about the school part. While being in school for 11 years i thought i had my whole life to change my grades around. I procrastinated all of the school work because i thought i had forever. Now that college is just right around the corner and is going faster and faster every day, i realized that i dont have forever. I wish i would have taken school more seriously.
@SStahley I agree with you so much. Media does have a lot of effects on people. I think it's pretty bad sometimes when a lot of people aren't them self's and try to be other people.
It seems as though one can never be truly happy with one’s life. It’s human nature to always want more. Some reasons could be more materialistic in comparison to others- some can be just a form of escape of the torturous life they live today. Sometimes, I can’t even look at my reflection in the mirror- too afraid of what I might see, or feel. My life has become a macrocosm of disaster and utter calamity- the world appearing to be collapsing around me. I’ve survived, but for reasons unknown, even to me. To the public eye, I appear ‘fine’ and studious- and may be even happy. But, I’m not fine, and sometimes, I’m not happy. I feel as though I’m in the run for my life- trying to escape from the thousand judgments and pressures that seem to always chase me. The home is supposed to be a place of sanctity and peace- but, to me, it’s the boiling core of all my pressures. Many expectations yet to be reached, so many goals that I have not planned, but that THEY have planned for me- the weight of it all pushing down onto my shoulders. A dream would be such a pleasure for me- but it’ll only end as a dream that would never be reached. I have a plan set out for me- by others, mind you, and for me to stray from that set dream will just not be acceptable. I am a mere puppet in my world- an offspring of the puppeteers. So am I happy? How could I be, with a life being controlled by others is not much of a life to begin with. However, if you were to ask if I am able to tolerate my life, I would gladly say yes- I’ve been able to move along with it for many years now, so today I wait- wait to make my own next move in my own life’s path.
I am very happy with my life. For one I'm happy with the fact that I'm alive and breathing and that I live in wealthy community. Yeah the economy is bad and all but were still making it through no matter what happens we know things will eventually get better as life goes on. Another reason I am happy is that I have a wonderful family and they care and encourage my goals in life and another reason is I definitely have a beautiful wonderful girlfriend that makes me happy and want to do good in life. Life is wonderful remember everybody dies but not everyone lives.
I am happy with my life right now. I have good grades even if high school gets hard at times. I still have time to figure out college and who I want to be later in life.
@Tstumpp: Things like those are put in to place to that we can have some sort of freedom and dreams in America. It’s not always the best situation to be in when you live here. But just think about places where you can just LOOK at someone the wrong way, lets say a police officer, and they will kill you right there. In some places; there’s no medical care, no clean water, no food, no advancement, no law. We pay taxes to keep these things in our country; we abide by set laws to keep our people and our territory safe from hurtful people and powers. As for going to school, if you’re uneducated than you will get NOWHERE in life, except maybe on your mother’s sofa, or homeless on the street. We go to school and graduate because without education, and a good one, our country would just go to crap, we would have constant chaos. Allow me to reference the movie “Idiocracy” that movie is the prime example of what our country will fall to if we were to be uneducated, we would be a bunch of fat idiots! Would you rather pay taxes and get an education? Or would you rather have it that complete chaos rules America? I would choose the former.
I am happy with my life so far. I have loving Family and great friends. There is always something wrong in everyone's life no ones perfect so yes I have mad few mistakes and did a couple wrong things, but everything turned around and it can make life even better. So i have to say I am good with my life and plan to be.
@ Sbonilla I completely understand where your coming from when you talk about other people setting goals for you and having high expectations set. I feel the same way.
@ SDonnelly .. sure its better than want everyone else has but, the way or government works still doesn't listen to the average person. it listens to people who claim to be the average person, when the really aren't.
@sBonilla Family pressures are the worst. its them they want you to make proud and its the worst when the try to make you do something that you don't. I have the privilege to know more about your story. At the end of the day you just have to do what will make you most happy even if its not that path your family is trying to set you on.
I wouldn’t exactly use the word “happy” to described my life. But looking at my past life and now I guess I can say I’m almost there. I came to understand that life is a struggle after being on my own not too long ago. Even though I have my ups and downs I still keep fighting to get where I want to get. No matter how hard they pushed me down I still get back up because I know for a fact that I will reached my happiness someday just not today

ReplyDelete@auhler because school is mandatory and the government want less bums
ReplyDelete@Tstumpp. Ok your getting a little out of hand and off topic. Haha.
ReplyDelete*these
ReplyDelete@ mjoaquino .. if the government wants less bums, why would they encourage more bums by taking away their money if they don't go to school.
ReplyDeleteSDonnelly.. Take 1960 Russia they beat us, they were communists and they got into outer space. They were not dumb, they were political criminals
